Don't you Think?!
“This
world is constantly broken into pieces and it consistently waits for us to
reclaim our right to breathe its air, we're not building up the world, we're
gathering fragment after fragment to keep it from crumbling down altogether, a
sand castle against the tides, we do so to survive living another day, we do so
not for generations to come, we do so not for ambition, satisfaction or
happiness, no! We do so out of necessity, and isn't there such a deformed form
of beauty in this, we live because we NEED to, this of course takes different
shapes, as do our faces and voices, but we’re all human at the end, and we
somehow reconnect, in this hour of need we constantly live in, we’re all the
same because our differences only serve satisfy that very need, and without
these differences we wouldn’t be, we’d crumble against the waves, a most
selfless form of selfishness; our humanity is.”
My First Novel - The Chain
“Nothing in this life is real, nothing really is, everything you know, everything you think you know is based on memories, memories of last year, memories of yesterday, memories of a previous moment, we believe what we remember, and we see only the gap that our actions cause in others’ memories, and to see the truth between the lies we have to open our eyes, the real ones behind the walls we build... around our hearts, or reality would become just another fool’s errand… They say one man’s tale can tell the story of the whole world, story of life, Dunia… one man’s memories can tell us more about ourselves than we would confess, I say life is a chain, a chain of hope, a chain of will, a chain of fate, and a chain reaction made by our own deeds, one moment versus another, the Cain and Abel in each one of us… My name is Chain… Chain the Insane… I’m mean, I’m ugly, and I’m too stubborn to DIE!”
